Well, we got Lexi back from the veterinarian three days ago, and she’s doing slightly better. We actually got her to eat, which is a good thing, and she’s moving around alot more.

I went to the dentist on wednesday so that the doctor could tell me “You have a broken, abscessed tooth.” Which is exactly what I already knew, what I didn’t, though, was that it was going to cost me $1600 to fix. I had to think real hard about how much pain I was willing to go through before I finally give in and spend more money than I have, but alas, I’m not about to pay $1600 for a tooth I wanted removed (but the doctor wouldn’t do it) in the first fucking place. Talks with my grandmother reveal that I could probably get it removed in Juarez for under $100, but then there’s that whole risk of me being white and getting shot, or getting the swine flu, I hear bad things about Juarez these days.  So my choices are pretty much pain or going bankrupt, or pain or getting shot in mexico. Sounds like fun, eh?
