Our dear cat Lexi died yesterday. If you’ve read the past posts you’d know that she was sick, we had taken her to the vet and paid out an arm and a leg for treatment and medication that seemingly did nothing to make her better. We did all we could for her, the rest was up to her. She was a wonderful cat, she brought us nothing but joy and love in the short time she was with us. She will be sorely missed.

So for those who don’t know, we have 6 cats. Peanut, Juju, Gimli, Lexi Belle, Chloe, and Flibbles.  Shortly after returning home from Lubbock, Texas, we were greated with a sick Lexi. She wasn’t eating, she was throwing up this white foamy shit, and as far as I can tell, she wasn’t using the bathroom. Not cool.

So as of writing this, we just got home from taking her to the vet. Turns out there’s a possibility that her liver is fucked, definitely not cool. Trying to avoid the expensive liver biopsy procedure that would determine whether or not she really had liver disease or liver failure, or any sort of liver not-so-goodness, the veterinarian opted to keep her there over night to “re-hydrate” her and monitor her.

tl;dr, my cat is sick.

P.S. Lexi Belle is also the name of a porn star, the cat was given to us by a friend of the family, who could not keep her because of her allergies. Her name was Lexi, I added the Belle. Thought it was funny.
